I used to believe that all software pricing was moving to become usage-based. I now don’t believe that to be true, but I do think that outcome-based pricing will become the goal for most companies over the next five years.

Kyle Poyar (Growth Unhinged + Tremont) has thought about all of this more than me, and he recently shared his latest annual report on B2B monetization. It’s great and worth reading in full.
